Mohs Micrographic Surgery & Reconstructive Surgery

Dr. Mahlberg is a fellowship-trained dermatologic surgeon with extensive training and experience in Mohs micrographic surgery for the removal of skin cancer and repair of surgical defects.  Mohs micrographic surgery is the standard of care for the treatment of non-melanoma skin cancers, particularly those of the face, scalp, and neck.  This technique of surgery provides the highest cure rate while minimizing the amount of normal tissue removed, thereby minimizing scar formation.  To learn more about the technique used in Mohs surgery and why it is important to choose a fellowship-trained surgeon, please click here.
